Dunno if this is done a lot at your neck of the woods Natty, but why not go to a fixed price on your house, this appeals to 1st time buyers as they know how much cash they're parting with and up our way it seems to get a quick sale??

Can you get someone like your relative to help you to put the house on sale, you know, showing the potential buyers around and sealing the deal?All you need to do is to fly over and sign the paper works. All the while you are in NZ taking on the new jobs and getting the PR approved.

Letting go of the NZ PR just waiting to sell the house is not worth it. At most, seal the house, get someone to look over it once a while, fly over to NZ and get those jobs and PR. PR is most important now..

I intend to do that...
