In short House sale fell through, lady decided she hated her sister too much to live in the same village. What are the chances eh?

No other viewings or anythings so utterly gutted and very very sad!! :icon_sad: :icon_sad: :icon_sad:

I'd love to know the reason for it not working if there is such a thing as fate. The only thing that's happening while we wait is we're having to spend more and more money. Loads of stuff needs replacing and repairing but we were holding off in the hope not to have to worry about it but we'll have to do it now.

I hate it!!!! Don't know why I'm telling all you guys, but hey ho.

Oh gawd, Stevey. I?m so sad for you. During my time, I?ve been through the mill a few times with selling properties, so I know what it?s like to have been led up the garden path for nothing. Why didn?t she think about her sister before getting you all wound up? Is that excuse for real?

If fate is taking a hand, hopefully it?s for a good reason, although it won?t seem like it now. Perhaps it?s just not the right time. I don?t know what else to say to you, as nothing will make you feel better about it at the moment. With Christmas coming, it?s not the best time for viewings so, unfortunately, you may have to sit tight until the New Year when the viewers come out in force again.

You?ve had two let downs, so perhaps it?s a case of third time lucky. I certainly hope so. I find if I make up my mind something?s just not going to happen and turn my thoughts to something else, often things suddenly start to go right for me. As I?ve said before, it?s as if your concentrating so intensely on a certain matter blocks it from happening. Once your attention is diverted to something else, it unblocks the good vibes that help things to happen. My mother had a clairvoyant friend and rubbed shoulders with others in the same line, so I picked up a few of these tips. Sometimes when life seems a bit dire, even if you think it?s all a bit wacky, you?ll try anything to sort yourself out.

Aside from this catastrophe, how?s your throat now? Hope that, at least, is heading the right way for you. No worries about sharing your upset with us, as we?re here for the bad times as well as the good.

Throats getting there still hurts to yawn but otherwise ok. Stiches are still hanging about tho so that's annoying as it always feels a bit weird.

Yeah that's all I can try and do, think about other things. Think I'm gonna try and jump start my music career that I put on hold a year ago cos I thought I was leaving the country iminantly hehe. That'll will provide some distraction if nothing else.

The housing market has to be one of the most frustrating and hated points about the UK at the moment. :icon_evil: We still await the sale of the house the agents said was "so unique it will sell quickly".

There is one positive point in the delay ... the exchange rate is supposed to be down to 2.4 something at the moment. :icon_eek: It has really got to be better next year.

What exactly does that mean? Are you into singing or were you part of a band or do you write music/play an instrument?

MB it means, I write songs, play guitar and sing them as a solo artist. I was offered a small recording contract to do an album at no cost but needed to iron some minor points out of the contract first before I signed, but in the interim period between being offered, getting annoyed at the contract and a mild falling out with the record company I decided not to sign, and see what happens when I hit New Zealand.
What kind of music? I guess it's an indie/folk/acoustic hybrid.

I hope you can do better than this guy. He looks like he's having to make an effort just to stand upright. It's always good to have another string to your bow. Good luck if that's the direction you're now heading towards. Perhaps you're going to be rich and famous and that's why you're being kept in the UK.
