Just had to put a note in the coffee house to let everyone know how serious I really am about NZ!!!

Have just returned from the hairdressers for what is most likely the last time in the UK! ................and because I know money will be short until we both start working, and I don't want big roots, I've had the blonde colour removed from my hair! :icon_eek:

Oh my God........I haven't seen the person with dark hair in the mirror for a couple of years at least!! Quite spooky......and just in time for Halloween LOL

The things you've got to do!!!!!! Hope it's worth it!!

I think you made the right decision - I didn't have the foresight to, am now on a budget and consequently only half my hair now has highlights :icon_sad:

Hairdressers aren't particularly expensive here, but when you're first over (and especially if money will be tight for a while), going to the hairdressers (other than maybe for a quick $20 trim) may be the last thing on your list of priorities!
