Default Milford Track
Hi everyone,

does anyone know anything about running Milford Track?

I like long distance runs and would like to dream about running Milford. :icon_wink: I wonder wheter there is any organized run or you run it on your own? How steep is the track ?

Any crazy runners here? ::):

One thing I've heard about the Milford Track is that it's thick with sandflies, so you may want to get some insect repellant!

thanks for advices. It seems noone here is crazy enough to run it :icon_cool:

I definitely intend to run from Prague via L.A. and Honolulu to Milford. The Milford track is just a finale. :026:

I wondered if there is any organized run. I havent found any info. I migh directly ask them and find that out.

I hate sandflies or better tosay midges. I have tracked "Great Highland Way " in Scotland and since then I treasure a "head net" that was the only safe protection against midges. I will take it with to NZ for sure. Thanks for reminder ! :117:
