I just wanted to say to Taffy and everyone who posts on here a great big Thank You for such a helpful, sane and (mostly)sensible forum.
I remember when we first started reading this forum there were some references to other forums and 'the darkside' well I think I accidently stumbled across it today and will not be going back there!
It just made me realise what a friendly and helpful bunch the people on here are,
so thanks again

Nice to have you aboard HMS Taffy. He runs a tight ship which often discourages some people as they think it boring, but, to the likes of us, it means a safe haven in which to gather and give out information whilst, at the same time, still having some light-hearted banter on the side. There are folks that really enjoy having a bit of a scrap on the Internet :027: and others that like reading about it but it's not for all of us and this is why this site exists. The membership numbers aren't so large as other sites and answers to questions may sometimes be slow in coming because of it but I think the idea behind this site is 'Better to be small and friendly than big and ...........' :smiley20:

Lets get this straight from the start:

It's not me that makes the forum what it is, it's the members. I can't force people to be nice, friendly and helpful, it's a choice they made themselves!

The upshot of it all is... the kind of people on here are the kind of people who deserve to be in NZ and will fit in nicely as they have the right attitude. If you want to jump on peoples backs and be rude about everything they say, thats your choice, but take it elsewhere!

Go forth and spread the word!! :icon_lol:

Well I'd say answers were always very quick to come compared to other sites. I think I posted about three questions elsewhere and the first replies were, 'well why don't you come over and find out' I mean duh!! The point of forums are???

not very much sense on other forums, 'coz if it was as easy as 'well why don't you come over and find out' we'd all be there!!!!!
