I have softened my A's and R's. And some of the lingo I've taken on. I can't say "Cheers mAte" like an American. It's "Chee'ahs Maight"

Actually I have been in NZ, twice. No shocks.
Oh yes, I know I have an accent. And it's not a very interesting accent, either. That's why I wanna be a Kiwi! :icon_biggrin:

OK, I think I understand now... Was merrily staining the floor, when my mind wondered about James' response to my "'foreign' accent" comment. My skill at subtle written humor is lacking, I think. I meant the Picto-Celto-Anglo-Saxo-Norman foreigners with the English accents, as in the neo-Kiwis who came from England, not Indian-English, Afro-English or whatever. Also encountered Aussie & American accents which made picking up the Kiwi accent difficult. That's all I meant.

I doubt I'll give you any competition in the comedy business, James. :icon_wink:
