Default Stuff from Introduction Thread!

It's a good kick in the arse they need the lot of them..(Hope your friend was okay.. sounds terrible...)[/quote:288da0e6a2]
She was badly shaken, but got away with minor burns. Fortunately it landed on her tie and she was wearing a t shirt under her blouse, so it gave her enough time to react and brush it off before it burnt through to her skin. She had some burns under her chin and lost half an eybrow, but no lasting damage. Had it landed 6 inches higher it doesn't bear thinking about.

I didn't read thru it all. lol
my parents were driving home the other night on the interstate and someone had set fireworks off to shoot straight across the highway. :icon_evil: :icon_evil: :icon_evil: they managed to time it where they didn't get hit but the car behind them was.

Yep, fireworks in the hands of eejits. Too bad the damage is usually to someone other than themselves.

I hope that with the limitation of firearms in NZ that life will be safer on New Years Eve and other hoot-and-holler nights than it is in the US. Too many eejits don't understand that those little lead projectiles come back down instead of entering earth's orbit. I found one imbedded in the roof this spring :icon_evil:. We stay inside on such nights.

we're fixing to fire off some firecrackers for the 4th. (it just became legal in my state to buy them...before people would just buy them in the next state over and bring them home *laughs*) I'll be sure to keep them aimed away from Britain and NZ. :icon_wink:
