Buy a car from the auction!, its awesome!

Aren't there some differences between imports and non-imports in terms of how often you have to get the WOF done etc? The car we had while we were there was an import and I'm sure I remember having to do things more frequently and it costing more.

Also, when we left, I seem to remember having a bit of trouble getting rid of our car because it was an import (in the end we got stiffed by a second hand car dealer in Napier!)
Incidentally, we tried selling through Turners. Let's just say the local dealers were quite friendly with the guys at the auction house (IYKWIM).

It seems second-hand car dealers are the same the world over (even in NZ)
