Things were going so well.

Plans have been put on hold as our puppy Chopper ( hes 10 months) has had to have his tail amputated.
Hes ok, on antibiotics and sedatives, so that he sleeps rather than wags his tail and splits his sutures again.
This has cost a LOT of money even tho we have pet insurance, we pay and claim it back.

Still i guess it gives me more time to lose weight.....

Iv been thinking about jobs.

The mr already has a job to go to, so that'll be great for him, but im gonna go out there with no job.

I was thinking of becoming a nanny/child carer.

Has anyone got any experience of doing this as an immigrant?
I have done jobs involving care of children before, as a sailing and kayaking and outdoor activities instructor, and have got first aid cert, but no actual ''childcare'' qualification. (Cant afford it!)...

One step down!! Im so happy lol.... I cant wait to get out there!

:O) Still not sure what i want to do... maybe i should start looking. The thing is, I dont like to look because then I just want to go......I would imagine the next big thing is to sell our house? or should we wait longer?

Hello folks!

just a little update.

Tez has a job offer with safeair in blenheim. We are dealing with a company called meridian, and we paid them £1000 consultancy fee - i assumed they would then do most of the work! - does not seem to work that way. We are currently filling in our EOI - what a nightmare!!!!! this forum has been a real life saver lol.
Im really worried about the medicals, have given up smoking and have lost 5 pounds already as my BMI is really...
