Hello folks!
just a little update.
Tez has a job offer with safeair in blenheim. We are dealing with a company called meridian, and we paid them £1000 consultancy fee - i assumed they would then do most of the work! - does not seem to work that way. We are currently filling in our EOI - what a nightmare!!!!! this forum has been a real life saver lol.
Im really worried about the medicals, have given up smoking and have lost 5 pounds already as my BMI is really high (always has been, im just a chubby gal lol)
anyway, fingers crossed, we are submitting our EOI via meridian by monday.

Hi both,
Yes, you're right about using consultants. I guess there are some good ones about, but a lot of them are just glorified paperwork collators. The nature of immigration paperwork dictates that you still have to do the bulk of the work yourselves, which is the hardest part. They only check through it and submit it, which you could easily do without their help. Congratulations on giving up smoking and losing weight. Immigration medicals or not, those are both great steps to take and I'm sure your body will thank you for it. Good luck with the EOI. |
