Worst & best week ever!!

After the joy of submitting our ITA things went from bad to worse. First the credit card company called me on Monday to tell me they were checking our transactions for fraudulent ones and that they had stopped a payment to NZIS. Needless to say I went a little bit mad. Thankfully NZIS did attempt to take payment again and this time it went through. Then Tuesday - as most who have read the forum will know - we took our dog to the vets who diagnosed a growth in his abdomen. He was booked in for surgery on Thursday to see what & how much was affected. On Wednesday I spoke to our estate agent who informed me that our 'buyer' had not been truthful and was now unable to get a mortgage so we are now back on the market
Thursday was the day we took our dog to the vets for surgery - later in the morning they called to say it was inoperable and asked permission to deepen the anaesthetic which we agreed to. Lots of tears were shed
the boiler man came on friday and adjusted something in theboiler - apparently the ignition switch was too close to the casing so that was adjusted and now the noise has stopped. Then on Saturday I got an email telling us that our ITA had been approved in principle and that our file was in the queue for the blue stickers
To say our emotions have been all over the place is an understatement. But we have soldiered on and come through the other side still smiling (kind of!!)
And now my baby (son) is celebrating his 14th birthday on a bank holiday Monday that is actually sunny for a change. Isn't life grand - sometimes!!

You should patent your rollercoaster of a life before Disney installs it in one of their theme parks! Great news on the AIP though :)

Congrats on the good stuff. A happy belated birthday to the young master. Hopefully the rough patch is over, and the skies will continue to be blue.
