Well, it looks as if we may have our boiler by Thursday. They have promised to come and install it on Thursday morning. Luckily I have the day off work - unfortunately it is because I have a wedding to go to in the afternoon. However they have assured me they will be finished by 1pm 
not quite sure if I believe them though. It will be 4 weeks to the day since we last had hot, running water. Can't wait
