Well finally some good news for us.
Neil has today received a job offer!!!
We have been here almost 4 months and were almost giving up hope of us staying in NZ.
We had got to the stage of deciding where we would go and what we would do if we went back to the UK (we only have 9 weeks left on our visa).
Well today is the day that things change.
Alcatel- after all this time and their messing around and promises finally came up with the goods- a job offer for Neil with a great salary and benefits. Neil is in Welli for another interview anyway so will be calling in to pick it up
Time to get things going on the visa front too. Hopefully will come through just in time for us to get Jessica into school- she is 5 in just over 4 weeks. Will ring them as soon as the application goes into to arrange a visit.
Seems like all coming together now- we can really start to feel settled and make a new life for ourselves!

Once the kids start kindy and school and Neils out at work, it'll soon start to feel like home. Are you celebrating then?
