Hi everyone,
My OH and i decided to move to NZ( March this year ) after hearing an ad on our local radio station about the long term skills shortage list,and a seminar that was bieng held locally to us.
My OH went along to find out more,he came home buzzing about NZ
he said this is the place for us.He has Senior Civil Engineering qualifications and various IT qualifications ,he was told both were on skills shortage listwe have been doing lots of research about NZ as we are taking our two children( 16 and 10) and family dog.We have filled an EOI in but have not submited it yet,we have 130 points without a job offer.OH has applied for jobs and has offered to travel to NZ from the UK for interviews but we are still waiting for replies
.We have no idea how long the process will take if he gets a job offer,hopefully long enought to talk my daughter (16) around she says she wants to stay with her friends and boyfriend
.We are both going to the Get a new life seminar in November to find out more before submiting EOI
