There was once this really selfish woman who had a plan to ruin all of her family's lives by moving to the other side of the world. For some inexplicable reason, she had this feeling that this place on the other side of the world, the one with the clean, green reputation would be a better place for them all to live. Her family however, (bar one), had other ideas. Despite her best efforts to persuade them, which in itself was like wading through mud, they remained impassive about the whole idea....

New Tattoo- Stage 1!

Well- after a lot of internet browsing etc I finaly decided what I wantedt to do with my tattoo.
I have never really been happy with my original and wanted something doing with it.

Now i'm in New Zealand I figured it was the best place to get a good tattoo done and a found the perfect guy.

Had stage 1 done today- yes it is quite big and no it isn't finished.

I'm going to get some tidying up done on the original and blend into it and then some more...

Hi I have been a guest for about a year reading all the wonderful comments and info about NZ (and how to emigrate there) which has really helped me through some wintery dark days, even in July in the UK! I am very excited to have finally plucked up the courage to introduce myself. My husband and I have two boys (12 +14) and we are finally visiting NZ for the first time this xmas. The fun never stops around here. At least I didn’t get stung today (yet).

I was a bit drowsy from antihistamines this morning, so didn’t feel up to an excursion with Karin & Kate. Perking up a little later, I figured I needed to work on woodenware for the bees. The Queen Pipes

Since splitting Boudicca’s hive a couple of weeks ago, I have been waiting for the queen cells in the original hive to hatch. On Thursday, I inspected the hive. As expected, there are only a few remaining capped worker and drone cells from Boudicca’s egg laying. I saw one drone emerging from his cell, which is a first for me, and so a bit special.
