I finally got my bees Sunday. I am very pleased and excited over them.

On Saturday I fussed around for an hour or two setting up the hive and making sure everything was placed just right. The hive is set over a drainage ditch, so I was concerned that the boards wouldn’t hold the weight. Karin helped decide that a double layer of “cross ply” 2”x8” boards was probably fine. Then she promptly took off for the rest of the weekend, no doubt worried that I would ask her to help install...

At last we have been able to submit our ITA with signed off medicals. What a great feeling - now the nail biting starts.

Gary has now gone to his new home - a few tears were shed but Gary has come to terms with it Still a long way to go but each day brings us a bit nearer.

It seems our boiler saga is not going to go away. Just 2 weeks after having our new boiler installed I have had to call the engineer out. It has gradually become noisier to the point...

Well, well, have't been on the forum in a few days, just really a quick look in to see if anything took my fancy and what would you guess, I've upset MORE peeps. Maybe it was the word ANAL that really got the good ode forumites arsed. It generally seems to work.
