You're right, it's not particularly helpful, that's why I thought I would post a question here, as nobody knows better than the people who are actually going through the same process!

We don't have a house, kids, pets or much else to worry about (sold pretty much all our possessions in 2005 and went travelling instead), so we are pretty much ready to go, it's only the guys in London keeping us here, it's difficult to be patient!
