I take it that you have applied for PR but INZ has granted you a WP to give you time to find a job in NZ?

e. Principal applicants* who are not in New Zealand and are issued visas under this policy will have the decision on their SMC application deferred for a period of 12 months to enable travel to New Zealand and a stay in New Zealand of 9 months (refer to WR6.5).
It sounds like you have 3 months to get to NZ and a further 9 months to look for a suitable job. Then you should be granted PR.
