Surprised you found MA cheaper than others as they're normally quite expensive. We've travelled with them a few times and had no problems. No personal experience with kids though as ours are all grown up. You can check the performance of the airline on
here but notice in the General Ratings they have 4 stars for assisting families and children. They must have done something right to warrant getting that.
Will you have a stopover in Kuala Lumpur? If so, I recommend the Pan Pacific airport hotel. It's very swish and the service is great.
