Wait until you need glasses. Kiwi opticians really know how to fleece ya! We paid $500 for specs for our 9 year old last month. The same pair would have been free on the NHS in the UK.
Punjabi fellas on my college course reckon it's way too expensive to see a dentist or optician in NZ. They wait until they go home and book in for the works.....
