just double check with him first, they could have paid him on a normal tax code, probably M, all of May.. any period before that would have been the high tax rate
Maybe it was his april pay then?
get him to have a kind word with them and see what they say :)
could be kind of hard to reverse tho, as once the pays are finalised they cant be reversed
