@Cliff - We have looked into the train timetables for the line that runs from paraparaumu to wellington and tbh it seems the best option to the city.
Hubby has found a few companies in Upper Hut also, that could be potential work places. Not sure how long it would take to get there from paraparaumu.
I think petrol is expensive everywhere now... there is no getting away from it. I guess you just have to work that in to the financial calculations haha
And also i like the idea of living outside the city, really so that the kids can run around a bit more.
@ Meadow - Cool! We have looked at christchurch also and there are some nice areas outside the city with big houses and reasonable prices.
I am not sure what the IT job market is like in C'church tho? Any idea?
I guess i would find an admin job anywhere quite quickly, but its the OH i'm worried about!
So i guess it is very different to Glasgow? And i guess you wanted to move there for similar reasons we do haha
