I've used
this to track a shipment from the UK to Oman. I had the name of the ship and searched for it that way. It was great until it reached Yemen then disappeared off the radar. I hoped and prayed the ship hadn't sunk, but we eventually got notification from the people at this end that the shipment had arrived in Muscat safe and sound. We dealt with it all via emails, so it was fairly straight forward. Your shippers should have given you some info and paperwork regarding claiming your shipment when it reaches its destination.
