Post Medical Waiver

Any information on this matter would be much appreciated. We are going through the medical issues at the moment after supplying INZ all the medical information required and more. We now know that the medical assessor will be recommending that our case gets rejected on the grounds of cost of treatment. Our son has been successfully treated for leukaemia on 2 occassion and a bone marrow transplant. He now receives medication which he has to take daily to help with side effects caused by the chemo and radiotherphy. This cost at the moment is £17,000PER year and will reduce to £5,000 per year in the next few years.

We know that INZ only allow $24,000 over a period of 4 years hence the rejection from medical assessors. We are hoping that INZ will see what we have to offer NZ as my husband has a job offer under the skills shortage catagory. Our son will also qualify in December on his apprenticeship again under the skill shortage. Our son is very well and holds done a full-time job. So does anybody have any hope that they could offer our situation. We have read the information on medical waivers.
We so wish for our dream to come true after visiting NZ on 4 occassions in the past 6 years.
