Default EOI timescale

Hi, I am currently in NZ on a working holiday visa, and have managed to get myself a professional job that is willing to keep me on long term. This means that I will score 150 points with my job offer. A couple of things are concerning me:

1: I think I am only meant to work in one job for 3 months on my WHV, and I have already worked four months and plan to continue. Will this overstaying get me in trouble with immigration (and is it best to move onto a work permit to get around this).

2: How long will the visa take to come through, considering I have a job offer and am already in NZ? I'm asking because I would like to change jobs pretty soon after I get residency as I am not particularily happy living in the town I'm in (but a job in another town may not come up for a long time so I would like to apply with this job offer)

If anyone has any experince and can help me on either of the issues that would be fantastic!

Thanks Becksly
