this thread that no one seems to have responded to.
It IS confusing but needn't be if things were put in order and simplified. Either folks are quite happy with the INZ sites or I've frightened them off.
You would need to have an accredited employer if you wanted to follow the
WTR route. If you get a job offer to gain extra points for PR, then you would have to work for that employer for a minimum of 3 months before you could look for anything else (if you wanted to), but there's no restriction on it needing to be an accredited employer, as Taffy says.
