Am new to this friendly forum and like what I have read so far!
We are in the process of submitting an EOI online and are not using an agent.
My question is, is 'residency' and 'permanent residency' (PR) the same thing? Our points are 145 under the skilled migrant option and i want to know whether they are going to invite us to apply for 'residency' (which then implicates we will need a job offer & work permit later and then only apply for PR afterwards) or are they going to invite us for 'Permanent Residency' which means we do not have to have a job offer and work permit needed before PR is granted.
