Whatever happened to 'soft, fluffy and cuddly'? And has Gary got a personality you can warm to? Can you take him for walks or get him to do tricks?
I think I'd be monitoring what sort of competitions my son is going in for in future. Heaven only knows what he'll come home with next.

I doubt MAF will allow Gary in as I believe it's mainly cats and dogs without special permission, so don't get too attached.
It seems to depend on
what the pet is and where it comes from . They'd be worried about what slimy, snaily diseases he might bring in with him that would affect their own species. I doubt he'd have rabies though, or ticks, so perhaps he could try to win MAF over with his outgoing personality, charm and lively wit. Does he happen to have any skills NZ needs?
