If you have recognised qualifications and work experience for pharmacy you should be able to apply as a skilled migrant. If you only have experience as an assistant, I don't think there would be the same possibility. It would be a lot easier to apply for jobs once you are in NZ than from outside but, if you enter the country on a Visit Visa you must not tell immigration that you are there to look for work.
