I call them cornflakes as Kellogs make other stuff as well, which could be confusing. I do appreciate a nice cornflake.

I'm intrigued with this dippy hollowed out bread thing though. Trust WG to disappear for a couple of days at a critical time like this. Was hoping to surprise hubster with a new culinary experience on our weekend, but time is going on and the weekend will be over by tonight.

I did experiment last weekend with hollowed out bread rolls filled with beaten egg, bits of bacon (turkey bacon here, of course ), chopped fried onion and mushrooms, grated cheese and a slice of tomato on the top. Bunged it in the oven for about 20 mins. until the egg was set. Was a bit runny because the cheese was flowing everywhere, so might have been better left to cool a bit first.
