Yes, eggy bread. That's what I call it but not sure if it's the same as Nick's dippy bread. Can't think what else you could dip bread in. Hubster calls it French bread, so maybe a Scottish thing, if you get my meaning ?

I just had it for lunch but skimped on the egg - cholesterol problem and I think I short-changed myself as it was a bit dry. There are cholesterol-free eggs for sale here, which we normally buy, but I just had ordinary ones in. Anyone heard of these or do you reckon it's just a skam? Supposed to be from Dubai.

I always thought French toast was like dry pre-toasted bread that you can buy in the supermarkets - very crisp.
