I'm hoping to get people interested in creating profiles on
LinkedIn, a professional networking site. If you take a look around, you'll see that LinkedIn isn't Facebook or MySpace. It's designed for helping people create professional connections.

I'm hoping that we can use this to create an Expats in New Zealand group (I've applied to LinkedIn to moderate such a group) and attract members within the MTNZ community and hopefully eventually help people find employment opportunities.

<on edit>I realize that this reads like an ad, but I'm not getting anything out of this! I'm pushing this because I think it would be a great tool for us to have (and to offer new members), especially since we're all either in the midst of or have gone through the challenge of making professional contacts here.
