Default Saying goodbye to the house

Well we sent the passports off for the official stamps on Monday. That was the last piece of official INZ business (I think).

Now for the other things. I've got to confess that listing the house for sale is a huge psychological step. I might have called a realtor any day this week but haven't mustered the courage.

I think in some way it is harder than telling friends, which we have started. With friends, you can always say, we'll come visit, or you'll have to come over on holiday. But with a house, it's much more final. We have a lot of sweat in this one and have had it for fourteen years. My eldest son is turning 11 tomorrow - Happy BD! and was raised here, etc.

So there you have it - my biggest hurdle so far in moving to NZ!
