Thumbs down it's not all good...

Bit scared about such a positive reaction to a giant of chipboard and plastic!! Don't get me wrong, inexpensive furniture is obviously a much needed product, but here in France everyone has furnished their homes or rentals ? la Ikea, and the average life of their stuff is 4 years..... if NZ is as beautiful as it sounds do we want to turn it into a landfill of unwanted outmoded furniture made by people paid tiny weeny wages?? Isn't there a second hand market for stuff that can be re vamped or re covered, maybe vintage style not contemporary?? It is SO massive with it's meatballs and uplighters and free kids' meals that I'm not sure it's all good. Oh, whilst on home furnishings are pillows square or oblong in NZ?

And yes, I do shop there, but less and less...the loo's are always clean though!
