Default Medical Costs in NZ
Hi Guys,

Stu and I have just been through our medicals for our ITA in NZ and I thought I'd post up the costs of what we had to pay incase anyone else is going to be going thru the same thing here:

Medicals - General medical conducted by a GP was $225 each. We phoned up on a Thursday for an apt and got one the following Tuesday (could have had it earlier but work wise we couldnt get time off)

Xrays - $80 each. These were done and results given within 5 mins after the Xray was complete.

Bloods - Blood tests were $122 each and we just walked into the Blood Testing Place (various ones dotted around each city). Blood was taken and results take 4 working days to come through.

These get sent to your GP and the following week you make an apt with them to colllect all your blood results.

Easy peasy and so much cheaper and quicker than Scotlands medical charges....

Now we just have to wait till next week for our Bloods to come back eeek!!
