Welwynrose gerrin radio room when show's on then you can ask as many questions as you like and I can answer them there and then. We'll ave another one this weekend sometime. As for the dogs you start the test programme 30 days before you leave. Our pet movers sent us a schedule with the exact dates particular tests had to be done, we took the list to our vet and they fixed all the appointments. Ladyhaye, the pet co. sent for the certifcate of export and aranged for it to be sent to our vets 11 days before flying so the vet had it in time to fill in after the last checks 48 hrs before flying. The certificate is the last thing your vet signs that says all the tests are complete and fine, that the dogs are the dogs we say they are and that they are not any of the dangerous breeds that are exempt from entering the country, that they're not pregnant etc etc.
Do they have a pet passport? Ours had passports but they're not necessary for getting them in to NZ they're just necessary for getting them back into the UK if you need to otherwise they'll have to do the quarantine thing. They do have to be chipped and I'mnot sure whether rabies vacs are compulsary although they are for getting back into the UK of course. If you decide to come back and they haven't been vaccinated you could get in done in NZ before heading back. Of course, everything will be fine and dandy and you won't want to go back anyway

Lou if you're buying your van that'll be cool it's the rentals that won't let you have pooches in them. Dog friendly campsites are few and far between though. You'll have to do your homework and it'll limit your choices, that's why we kennelled our two whilst we were travelling. It's not the same as the UK here, you can't just pull up somewhere near a field or a public walk and take the dogs. They're not allowed a lot of places and everywhere has dog designated areas. The beaches are off limits for dogs just as in the UK i.e you can only take them on parts of the beach at certain times of year and the really nice beaches are off limits full stop. You won't be able to take them to the touristy places either there are some places they are just completely banned from and that includes all kids play areas. You might want to bear this in mind as having Willow with you might prevent you and the kids doing a lot of stuff you'd otherwise enjoy.
