Dawn, we are loving it. I've met some wonderful people (including our own Kokopeli and his lovely family) and had nothing but positive experiences thus far. I can't wait until we really get a chance to explore beyond Chch and see some more of this beautiful country.
Our flight experience was fine ... of all of the toddlers on board, ours cried the least! ;) Our four year old slept most of the way, and when he wasn't asleep he was making friends with this 27 year old Aussie woman who was sitting next to him. I think he's got her phone number someplace.
I think both of them probably traveled better than I did--I know they certainly slept more than I did.
