I also didn't know that proms were held beyond the US. What a lovely young woman Lauren is - the whole family looks great!

I know how you feel about the passing of time. It feels like only a couple of years ago that my nephews were little boys gazing wonderingly at the world, and now the middle one (22) has made my baby sister a grandmother twice over! They're sure to catch up with me soon. Other than a few aches and pains, and lessons well learned, I still feel about 30 years old.
