We saw it online, but I have a good mate in Palmerston that went and had a look at it for us and gave us a complete rundown of the property before we put in an offer, so we knew exactly what we were dealing with. I've never been property owner before, it's a wonderful feeling! Housing prices in Bermuda are astronomical and completely unaffordable for single mothers. The average property price here is US$1.5 million. For a comparable property to the one we are purchasing in PN, we would have had to pay about US$2 million at least!! Probably another reason why we are so excited, we'd never be able to own such a porperty here...let alone the garage!!
