It's great when things come right for people especially when they've been working so hard to get things on track. Your work sounds interesting, good pianists are so valuable to a ballet school and hard to come by and although you may not often get thanked by the students, they will be VERY grateful to you believe me.
It must have been hard hanging in there but hopefully now the everyday stuff is settling down you can enjoy it more and worry less :)
