Not sure if the old NZ machos'd be up for that altho according to MB they're much more likely to shave their legs than most blokes! Could be the same guys that are eating veggie lasagna at your place - try offering a lunchtime special, bruscetta and a facial :)

Waiting for this decision must be a pain in the old proverbial but at least you're showing committment and getting on with it in the meantime, that has to stand for something. Were your work permits issued immediately or did you have to wait for them, the case officer must have seen a chink of light otherwise he wouldn't have suggested that route surely?
