My situation exactly. Once I actually submitted the EOI I really didn't talk much about it, nor want to. Even after selection - and now assembling ITA materials - I will talk about it if asked but otherwise no. In part because I know it's all still up in the air, I read these board and other tales of immigration-gone-wrong on the net and I realize there are still so many ways to be derailed.
A strange air of contingency has entered the proceedings. We can be discussing some future event, "next time we do xxx", and it's not certain that I will be around to do it. Unusual, this.
