Celebrate Good Times, Come On!
[smiley=Drunks.gif]
The residence application went in this week, minus only my NZ Teachers Council certification (thanks to some difficulty getting the necessary paperwork to prove I can speak English!) and my wife's NZQA report (which I totally overlooked!).
Now, it is 'hurry up and wait' as the job hunt begins, the sorting-and-throwing-away continues, and the beginning ends.
Word has gotten around work, and everyday for the past 2 weeks coworkers have come up to me and said, "I don't know if I'm supposed to know this or not, but I heard you're going to New Zealand." What's strange about that is I've been talking about it for 3 years now! Admittedly, however, I've probably talked about it less in the past year since it stopped being an idle dream and started being a potential reality. I'm pretty tight-lipped about it because I don't really want to answer any questions about why. How do you explain to someone the million reasons you pack up your family move to the other side of the earth?
I've always been more of a "life's a journey not a destination" kind of guy, but this journey is killing me! :D
Oh, BTW, medicals were all fine ... liver is normal as confirmed by every blood test known to man and an ultrasound--good news--it's not twins! ;)
