Arrgh, give me a flippin' break. This guy is yet another yahoo wanting to blame the victim for the agressor's bad behavior. It sounds like he's twisting data to support his opinion, rather than noticing the trends and trying to figure out what the cause is.

I suspect that in "The Good Old Days", men would beat on their wives and the whole thing went unreported. Now, I believe women are more aware that this behavior is unacceptable, and are calling the police. Thus, statistics show a rise in reported incidences of domestic violence. Maybe if we just prohibited women from whining about their husbands slapping them around, the statistics would simmer down, and all those poor beleaguered men would stop needing excuses for putting women "in their place".
