We have one butchers and a farmer's market on Sundays. The butcher is slightly cheaper than the supermarket, but not much. Must say that I don't go to the farmer's market much as few items are particularly cheap - the best deals are on citrus fruit and I have enough of that in my garden. A lot of people treat the farmer's market as a social outing.
