Sounds like we have similar relationships with our Mums, I'm the same we speak all the time on the phone. Mums actually started emailing me at work, think she's getting into practice on speaking to me via email.

She keeps saying she's so excited for us and you can see it in her face she's finding it hard. And it's so hard for us not to update them with every bit of progress and how we're feeling, you almost feel you have to play your excitement down a bit.

Dont know if you've already thought about this but we're going to invest in a Webcam and Skype. Stu knows all about Skype and has it set up at the moment although I dont use it but its something like you can talk to someone for free over the internet which is quite cool?? (gawd I'm in IT and I know poop all about modern technology). I'll be using both of them a lot when we're in NZ.
