I had one fine example....

I was staying at this hostel and I notice the window pane was slightly broken probably from some bloke who smashed it before.

Anyway, it does not really matter since the management taped it up well and looks like it is going to hold good. So after the second day of stay there, without me complaining, the management changed the entire window pane while I was away during the day. I mean, I did not made this known to them that they should change it (I accepted it anyway since I pay cheaply for the room), but they changed it because the winds in Welly are picking up and obviously for safety reasons.

So, I was pleased...

There are many examples during the short two weeks stay I was there, drivers giving way, friendly people to talk to on coaches/buses and etc....
