Well...my friend is actually fairly strict guy. He feels the reason we have two murders daily, kidnapping & sexual assaults and a car stolen every 10 seconds here is because of the week punishment. Needless to say, the last two child molesters in a major publicity trial got slapped on the wrist and "probation." Essentially, they are out free!
