Thanks folks for your kind support. Oddly enough but, there again not so oddly at all, you are amongst the ones who are the backbone of this forum and it?s very cheering to read your regular posts. I?m currently just feeling the strain of trying to coax the forum along during the quiet times, whilst looking after a very sick moggy who isn?t responding to treatment. Was just sad that some members seem to solely use the forum for their own ends rather than joining in with other?s topics as well, even when I knew they could add valuable info and advice :(. I guess that?s just the way of the world and different people have different views of what a forum means to them.

It?s encouraging though that we?ve had quite a few very heartening compliments regarding the forum lately, considering it isn?t one of the busier and larger ones. Thanks to those who've taken the time to let us know we're appreciated. As I?ve said to Stevey in a PM, I?m truly not out to win the Poster of the Year award, it?s just my way of trying to keep the forum alive, so it appears to be a happening place to be when any newbies or visitors look in. During my meanderings around the Net, I?ve come across many a forum that hasn?t had posts for quite a while and they look so sad and neglected :( . Didn?t want that to happen to this one.

I?m also becoming a bit embarrassed at my high post count :-[ , which implies I'm leader and most mouthy of the pack, whereas I would prefer just to work alongside everyone else. Ambition isn?t my middle name.

I?d like to thank those of you who are regular contributors for all your assistance in trying to hold the forum together and making it a useful and helpful tool for wannabe immigrants. Meanwhile, any peeps looking in who are already in NZ, we could really use your inside 'everyday life in NZ' information so come and join us. Follow Glenda?s example, she?s a treasure and the epitome of what I?ve been trying to put across. 8-)
