Will YOU be included this time round?
There was a rather disturbing bit on the news about the census... apparently a man who murdered his own family was employed in Hamilton as a census collector!
He was subsequently sacked when his history was uncovered, but comments later came out that 'it was an important part of his re-integration into society to have meaningful employment'.
In other words, we didn't mean to employ a murderer, but we did mean to cos it's good for him, but not knowing he was a murderer, we had to sack him anyway.
I think Hamiltons new policy for criminal corrections is "Employing killers is beneficial to reintegration to society, but only if you don't know they are killers. Once discovered, it's advisable to sack said person to make sure he is segregated from society, and slightly enraged by your actions, possibly leading to further murder."
